Herb Millro 2024

The Herb Millro Classic is an annual singles and doubles tournament honoring the memory of Herbert "Herb or Herbie" Millro. STA members are invited to join us for a weekend of fun and competitive play. This is a great opportunity for those seeking tournament experience or looking to test their level!

As one of the STA founding members, Herbie could always be found on the Broadway Playfield courts at Cal Anderson Park, where the STA was born way, way back in 1984. Herbie's passion for the game was contagious, he was always willing to develop the skills of the younger players, and his time on the STA Board of Directors shaped many of the activities our members still enjoy today. His tireless energy and sparkling personality shined brightly until his passing in 2013. His spirit lives within many of us who knew him well and he will forever be remembered as a driving force behind the Seattle Tennis Alliance.
